Product Installation Guide

It is important that you read this document before you begin to install the product.

The security and SQL Server settings are particularly important

The entire install should take just a few minutes per machine.

Notes:

1. If you have any issues, please click here to contact Xtremesoft Support.



2. You can import the Management Pack into MOM through the "import/export MP" function, using the following directory, \Program Files\Xtremesoft\AppMetrics for Transactions\MOM. Once AppMetrics is installed and configured, the Management Pack will see COM+ and .NET serviced component alerts generated when specific thresholds are exceeded.



3. AppMetrics for .NET Serviced Components is a subset of .NET features from the full AppMetrics for Transactions product.



4. If you are installing on a cluster, please let us know - some extra configuration settings may be required for use of the Manager on a cluster.



5. If you are installing with SQL Express, please read Appendix A: Special Considerations for SQL Express in the Installation Guide.
